Product Description
This QR plate clamp ki tis composed of an Arca-type quick release plate and receiver base. It can be used on tripods, sliders, stabilizers, and more. The quick release structure allows switching between rigs effortlessly. Integrated tether cable clamp on the plate protects the camera's data port while tethered to a computer or hard drive. The top surface of the plate are grooves that can channel a section of data cable into one end of the plate's length and out the other before the plate is attached to a compatible camera. This allows a USB or FireWire cable that is connected to a camera's data port for tethered photography to be secured under the camera and within the plate, preventing tension due to accidental tugging or tripping on data cable from causing abrupt and incorrectly-angled detachment of cable from camera data port. Moreover, it features unthreaded holes for direct connection to a device with 1/4"-20 female accessory threads by using the included 1/4"-20 bolts.
